We welcome orders for Swahili style furniture, batiks, ornaments and Mariakani material (for curtains). The furniture is made from Mvule and is carved to the allusion of space. Items that can be made include complete furniture for the lounge, dining room and bedroom. Four poster beds feature for the bedroom. Sofas and chairs are carved according to Swahili patterns and incorporate strong cotton strings.
In a Swahili styled house or apartment with arched doorways, Swahili furniture, batiks, lights and ornaments, one gets the feeling of being transported into the Zanzibari-Swahili world. Such a place invokes an atmosphere of peace, serenity, tranquility and cultural identity.
